Armory is proud and humbled to share that we have raised 13 Cr in a seed round led by GrowX Ventures, and co-invested by Industrial 47, Antler, AC Ventures, and Dexter Ventures to accelerate our mission of building the most effective counter-drone systems for India’s armed forces.

Just a deep belief: our soldiers deserve tools to counter emerging modern threats. And we intend to build them.

Why This Matters

Modern conflict isn’t just about tanks and trenches alone anymore. A nation can now be attacked in silence through the air, through code, through chemicals, through chaos. The battlefield has multiplied. And so have the ways to inflict damage.

The drone breaches over the last few years have increased drastically. Imagine a 20,000-rupee drone, aiming to drop a little something over military runways, bases, cities, key infrastructures, a scary thought, isn’t it?

Global events aside, the recent drone attacks from across the border were a wake-up call. A clear reminder of just how real the threat is, how urgent it is to build honest, homegrown solutions, and how quickly we need to move.

We started Armory in 2024 because we saw this very gap widening. Our answer: build in-house counter-UAS systems that actually keep up with the threat.

In six months, our first product family, SURGE, went from a minimum viable sellotaped product to a battlefield-ready product. Designed, engineered, tested, and manufactured entirely in-house. Powered by our own AI-based defence operating system, Samaritan OS. No borrowed stacks. No rented hardware IP. No commercial-off-the-shelf shenanigans.

We didn’t take this funding to play catch-up. We took it to stay ahead.

What This Means

This raise will help us:

- Expand the Surge lineup into a full-stack C-UAS suite

- Come up with hard-kill solutions to counter drone.

- Double down on in-house R&D across RF, AI, FPGA, mechanical, and embedded systems.

- Hire mission-first engineers and designers, not resume-optimised employees.

- Scale an honest indigenous manufacturing, turning “Make in India” into “Made for the World.”

The Long Game

We’re not a startup chasing headlines. We’re a defence-tech company building hard things, quietly, obsessively, and with the kind of speed traditional approaches can’t afford to match.

We’re proud to do this with a founding team shaped by the frontlines of aerospace, AI, and defence, and people who’ve built systems for contested borders, space, and scaled SaaS. And we’re honoured to do it under the leadership of Amardeep Singh, an IIT Bombay alumnus, who helped scale India’s first drone unicorn to get listed in the stock exchange, IdeaForge, before setting his sights on what comes next: stopping the next threat before it starts.

As Amardeep puts it:
“It’s increasingly obvious that the future of warfare is autonomous drones and EW. The only way to deter them is to build advanced countermeasures. The foundation of India’s self-reliant defence is being built right now, and we aim to play a leading role in it.”

What Comes Next

Over the next 24 months, we will:

- Expand Surge to cover every stage of drone interdiction.

- Accelerate product cycles with faster AI-hardware integration.

- Hire a mission-crazy team of engineers.

We don’t take the responsibility of national security lightly. Defence isn’t just another vertical. You are either ready or too late.

We’re here for the long haul. One circuit board, one prototype, one test range at a time. Jai Hind.
